About bishop ken montessori 

We are a Montessori Nursery School which has been open since April 2025.
 

At Bishop Ken Montessori, we aim to ensure that our children have everything they need at their fingertips in order to reach their full potential. With the help of 100% qualified staff, we guide each child at their own pace. 

We have a full range of Montessori materials that are readily available for the children to use on a daily basis. We also have a great outdoor space for the children to play as well for growing our own fruit and vegetables. Some of the produce that we are currently growing include strawberries, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, chives, pepper and sunflowers. We have chickens and cockerels also for children to collect the eggs.

We are currently open from 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday all year round, term time only. We are flexible to provide longer hours if we have demand from more than 6 children.

We accept children from the ages of 1 year up to 5 years of age.
Free places are available for 1, 2, 3, and 4 year olds for eligible working parents.
15-30 hours free are available for eligible working parents.
